Mukteshwar and Chauli ki jali
Mukteshwar is a small town situated in Nainital district. It is made up of two words, ‘Mukti’ and ‘Ishwar’. That is, here you find yourself close to God by freeing yourself from worldly adversity. Mukteshwar is basically famous for adorable scene, clean environment, quiet atmosphere and dense forest.
Mukteshwar is almost 48km away from Nainital and 64km from Haldwani. You can reach Mukteshwar by road. I posted an article on it read here… How to reach Nainital from Kathgodam Haldwani.
Here you will also find the Shiva temple names as Mukteshwar Mahadev Mandir. Many devotees come here daily to do devotion to their Lord Shiva. And Lord Shiva fills all their devotees with energy.
Things to do in Mukteshwar
Meditation, Jungle walk, Rappelling, Bird watching, nature walk, trekking and hill climbing are the things to do in Mukteshwar.
If you want to meditate, take one step from today to meditation to get rid of all the tension of the mind. If you are a meditation lover than trust me this is a great place for you.
If you want to take a walk of nature with some favorite music while walking and want to capture these scenes in your camera then come on Mukteshwar.
Mukteshwar is famous for its evergreen dense forest. Bird watcher lover are often find here with there cameras and binoculars. Here you can find various birds and butterflies that can blow your mind in a second. If you wanted to visit nearby zoo then visit Govind Ballabh High Altitude Zoo Nainital.
Mukteshwar has enough hard rocks for climb lovers and trekkers. Here are a lot of cliffs in Mukteshwar that offers various difficulty to climb for climbers.

Shiv Dham Mukteshwar
A very old Lord Shiva’s temple is the Shiva Dham of Mukteshwar. Along with Lord Shiva, Maa Parvati, Nandi ji, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Hanuman ji are distinguished in this temple.
It is written on the board of this temple that this temple was situated on the basis of 5350 years old temple on the hill named Mukteshwar.
Bhalu Gaad Waterfalls
Bhalu Gaad Waterfalls This place got status as a tourist place shortly before. It is an attractive place which is situated in the middle of the forest and is full of adventure and adventure.
Chauli Ki Jali Mukteshwar
The center of Mukteshwar’s main attraction ‘Chauli Ki Jali’ is at a distance of about 100 meters from Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple.
In summer you will find the sound of wind blowing, the sun blossoming in the snowy mountains in winter and the clouds and rain blowing in the rainy season.
You will feel wonderful as soon as you reach here. The beautiful valleys nearby provide a very beautiful view when viewed from Chauli Ki Jali. This rock made naturally of stones makes the attraction of Mukteshwar even more attractive.
There are very big rocks in Chauli Ki Jali, from where you will feel yourself very happy after seeing the best view with your naked eyes.
There is one natural hole in one of the rock here. It is believed that if a couple does not have a child, if the woman passes through this hole, then the couple is blessed with a child.

You can come here at any time of the year but the best time to come here is from March to June and from October to November.

A serious tip for you
Friends, this place is famous in itself for the immense peace and beauty of the place and there are many adventurous activities to be done here. But I would like to request you not to go to the end of this rock for just one picture.
Many people go to the end of this rock for a photograph without caring for their lives, which can sometimes prove to be fatal.
The Mukteshwar administration has also put up several notice boards. In which, they have clearly written that it is strictly prohibited to go to the end of the rock.
